MESHELLA EDDYE WOODS

Meshella Eddye Woods, also known by her African name Ama Sarfowaa Kplorla, serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Pan-African Federalist Movement of North America (PAFM-NorAm). With over 46 years of experience in finance, nonprofit leadership, architectural design, and federal facility management, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Her financial background includes service as grant administrator and Budget and Finance Committee member of the African American Cultural Society Inc. (AACS). She has also served as an executor, power of attorney and personal representative managing personal estates and finances, a business manager, and as treasurer for numerous nonprofit organizations. Meshella currently serves as treasurer on the board of City Lites, Inc., a performing arts organization which awards college scholarships to high school seniors.

A dedicated Pan-Africanist, Meshella is also the Minister of Tourism for the State of the African Diaspora (SOAD) and a board member of the Tower of Return project in Ghana which commemorates the African Diaspora reconnection to the continent. As CEO and founder of Sanaa World Travel, a heritage travel company specializing in African and Diaspora tours by land and sea, she has traveled extensively across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, promoting heritage awareness and Diaspora unity.

Meshella retired from the U.S. federal government after 25 years of service, where she held several positions including Chief of Strategy, Asset, and Portfolio Management. Her career spans roles in architectural design, prohject management, budget planning, digital media, and computer-aided facilities management. She was a charter member of the International Interior Design Association, founding board member of the Flagler County Cultural Council, associate member of the American Institute of Architects and a leader of several professional organizations including the National Organization of Minority Architects and the Organization of Black Designers.

A lifelong advocate for cultural education and community empowerment, Meshella has curated major exhibitions, written successful grant proposals, and served on advisory councils and boards across the arts, heritage, and education sectors. Her community engagement is further rooted in her involvement with the NAACP and Seeking Innovative Solutions (SIS)—a group focused on dismantling racial discrimination through proactive education and reform. With a visionary and grounded approach, Meshella continues to build bridges across the Africa and the Diaspora, stewarding cultural integrity, economic sustainability, and unity for generations to come.
